WHY WE EXIST

If you landed here from the Ariya product, you might be wondering why a SaaS platform has an About page that reads like a consulting firm. The answer is simple: it is one.

Ariya was built by phamax, a life sciences consulting firm based in Zug, Switzerland. We were not a software company that discovered pharma. We were a consulting team already working inside pharma commercial and medical functions — and we built Ariya because we kept hitting the same wall.

The intelligence was there. The decisions were not. Good research, wrong format. Good analysis, wrong moment. Good strategy, wrong room. After seeing it enough times, we stopped recommending tools and built one.

phamax still runs consulting engagements. We work with pharma and biotech companies — the ones with serious commercial ambitions and lean teams who don't have time for consulting theater. Ariya is what those engagements look like when strategy, analytics, and AI run on the same intelligence layer as the client.

We call it the Intelligence Operating Model. It is not a framework we invented to put on a slide. It is how we actually work — and Ariya is the platform that makes it repeatable.

We are based in Zug because we like being close to pharma companies — close enough to show up, not just send the deck. It also helps that Zug is calm, well-connected, and has a suspiciously high density of interesting conversations.

We work globally, but we are not trying to be everywhere. Being genuinely useful to a focused set of clients is more interesting to us than being generically present in all of them.
